Solar Pumps adapting to your needs.

Jay Slough - Tuesday, November 03, 2009

What are solar pumps, and how can they work for me?

Solar pumps are easy to set up and free to operate. They provide for a variety of different water applications such as drainage, emergency water needs, environmental remediation, simple landscaping, private homes, villages, medical clinics, etc. A water pump can be powered by its own PV array, or by a main system that powers lights and appliances.

Solar water pumps are superior for the environment than other water pump options. Using electricity powered by the sun does not release harmful emissions into the atmosphere and does not deplete non-renewable resources.

What if the sun is not out?
Any renewable energy source can make the electricity you need to power appliances, including pumps. Solar electric cells convert sunlight into DC electricity that can be routed directly to DC appliances, or can be stored in batteries for use when the sun is not shining, or can be inverted into AC electricity to power AC appliances.

So you see, there are opportunities to harness the power of the sun through solar water pumps and get the water you need without the extra cost. Power Plus proves time and time again they can beat the competition when it comes to price, quality, and most importantly, service.
